About Patrick and Natasha

Well, I guess if you’re here, you’re interested in knowing a bit more about us :)

Living in Natasha’s home town of Montreal, we are full time swing dancers / teachers / performers / choreographers, etc… Whenever we can, we much enjoy traveling the world to spread our love of Swing dancing.  If you’d like to see us in action, check out the video section of our website where you’ll find us performing some of our numbers, dancing in music video clips and appearing as special guests in tv shows.

We’re very proud of recently being hired by the Cirque du Soleil to teach some Swing aerials to dancers of the show Banana Shpeel.

  3. Dear George n’ Sue,

We’re very happy you enjoyed our instructional videos.
If you want to download the videos, if you use Firefox, you can use the 1-click Yotube video download extension. It’s very easy to use, you just have to install it and it will add download links next to the videos on Youtube.
However, if you’d like a DVD, we could make one and sell it to you. Let us know if that’s something you’d be interested in.

    Best regards,

    Patrick and Natasha

    Patrick & Natasha,

I love watching you two dance…you’re fantastic!

We’re learning the shim sham and I can’t find the same version of Jimmie Lunceford’s Tain’t what you do that you’re using. The one that I find doesn’t get into the song until 1/2 way through and it’s different. Can you tell me where you got that song? Thanks so much!!!! And thanks for inspiring us.

    Jeanne

p.s. what I enjoy so much about watching you two is your happiness and smiles.

  5. Hey Jeanne,

Thank you very much for your kind comment.

The version of “Tain’t What You Do” we dance the Shim Sham to is Billy Kyle’s. It’s on the 1939-1946 album.

Let us know if you manage to find it.

    Best regards,

    Patrick & Natasha

I want to just thank you two for putting together all this work to post these videos of amazing dancing. You make the competitions accessible to those who can’t make it or afford to make it, but are in love with Lindy Hop. I was in the San Francisco bay area for the past 7 years, but sadly missed your workshop with Carla because my boyfriend and I went to visit his family in Lyon, France before my move to New York where I’m starting medical school. I hope I can visit you guys soon in Montreal. =)
